About the course

Grounded curiosity is a design stance.

This course refuses both AI evangelism and AI panic. It asks faculty to make choices they can explain, defend, and revise.

Course philosophy

Pedagogy before platforms.

The course begins with disciplinary values and learning evidence rather than software features. It treats faculty skepticism as a legitimate professional stance and uses structured artifacts to turn that stance into design decisions.

Named frameworks such as AIAS, TILT, Safety Gap, Oracle/Tutor/Adversary, and capability drift help faculty explain their choices to students and colleagues.
