Faculty FAQ

Direct answers for real course constraints.

The course is designed for busy faculty, uneven support, different disciplines, and legitimate skepticism.

How long does this really take?

The full lecture sequence runs about 3 hours (184 minutes). Worksheets and optional portfolio activities add time based on how deeply you choose to engage.

Do modules have to be completed in order?

No, but the portfolio builds sequentially. Starting with the problem you need to solve is welcome; return to earlier modules when you need their artifact or design language.

Will this work for my discipline?

The design applies to labs, studios, clinical courses, quantitative work, and writing-intensive courses. Synthetic course packets provide a low-stakes option when you do not want to use a current course.

Do I need a paid AI account?

No. Required learning should not depend on a paid tier. Any optional AI-supported activity should include a non-AI path.

Does my progress sync across devices?

No. Progress is stored only in this browser using localStorage. There are no accounts or server-side learner records.

Who sees my data?

Your course progress stays in this browser. The newsletter form collects only what you submit. Never enter student PII into a chatbot.

What if a link or video is broken?

Send me an email to report the page and item name.
